Goal Setting – Creating A Successful Life

Chalkboard

I have been a little bit quiet on the blogging due to the fantastic break and time I had to re charge my batteries and move away from thinking about work and simply shutting off. It was time to stop, listen to my body and soul and spend quality time with my family and friends. I have done so successfully and ready to get back into it all. I am revised, energised and ready to live my DREAM.

When I talk to people about how passionate I am about transforming the world they kind of look at me to say “yeah fluffy dreams, would never come true”. Who is to say that it would never come true. Oprah Winfrey and Deepak always advise to ‘never say never’ because you simply never know.

Living your dream is a big deal and the only way you can make it happen is if you actually unconsciously make that agreement with yourself have the idea of what you want in you mind and simply MOVE onto it.

Procrastination is what I see from people, time and time again. I cannot tell you how many times when I’m talking with people they would say the following; Yeah, I’ll get to that one day or I can’t do that because I don’t have enough money or I don’t know if I will get the support I need to make it happen.

Well I say, STUFF IT! You are in charge of you, your mind, your body, your soul. God created human kind and the Universe has plans for us all, as does God. Whatever your religious beliefs, I respect every one of them and even if you’re an atheist, you too would still have inner beliefs.

We all have a calling card and we all need to act on it today, NOW! Not tomorrow, not I’ll get around to that one day, not if, only I could do that, just DO IT!

When we tell ourselves and our inner voice tells us NO, you are immediately jeopardising your dreams. On a subconscious level our minds operate at 90% it’s scientifically proven and on a conscious level our minds are processing at 10%. How many thoughts do we have a day, I ask? Millions. How could we possible process and achieve a million thoughts all at once. We manage to process maybe up to 10 things in the day and that is it.

This is why when you have a dream and I suggest to, dream BIG, go ahead and do that. In the process of getting closer to where you want to go make sure you are realistic about your ideas. Plan them out step out of your comfort zone.

Set out to find your purpose, why you want to do what you want to do? What beliefs do you have about your true purpose? Do you have certain standards and attitudes in the values that you hold? Do your values equal your beliefs? What are your values and how true are they to you?

When we look at values we are referring to our self – awareness of things that are most important to us. Things that we want to believe are part of us because that’s what and how things should be as they feel right and there isn’t any need for change because you are living your highest level of self and you’re abundant with wealth, knowledge, skills, love and compassionate with all the thoughts that make up you as an individual.

When we have a value about being in love, for example, this idea of love for self, love for others, ‘love’ as a rule and what it would look like, what it would feel like, to be truly in love with you, in all that you are and do. It is to have, thoughts and beliefs that are a true value and certain as a rule.

When this thought of love goes wrong and the picture you thought it was going to look like and going to feel like isn’t how your were thinking it ought to be, than you have to promote change and to make a decision about this process, for thoughts to be better and to improve and to make the changes necessary to fit into the idealist thought for you, this would require personal change and this alone can become and to some degree is a huge challenge for some members in our society.

Not living congruently and effortlessly with whom you are and what you want and what you want to become can create serious challenges for you. It is all about manifesting a true value and meaning within you in this example of love and true belief of oneself in order to be able to move forward.

Hopefully you are now inspired enough to STOP procrastinating and move forward. Go through your values and if any concept is worth changing because it simply doesn’t fit in than, I ask, “What should you do?”

Like the song goes “Should I stay or should I go now”(The Clash), and if I choose to move forward it means it’s time for me to move forward and let go of any negative thoughts that I have experienced in life and make this personal change work for me how I want.
